Welcome To Total Dental Care’s New Website
- January 11, 2016
Welcome to Total Dental Care of South Carolina, where you can expect all your dental needs under one roof. Our office is excited to have recently unveiled an updated, state-of-the-art website that highlights our advanced dental procedures and friendly atmosphere. We hope you’ve had time to review our services pages and hear what our patients are saying about us!
This will be the first of many blogs I’ll write about our dental treatments or new advancements in the field of dentistry. This blog gives me an excuse to do one of the things I love most about my job: teach. Along with treating dental issues and getting patients out of pain, I take pride in teaching my patients how to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Perhaps even more exciting, I love discussing how the latest technology in dentistry can help you maintain – or even transform – your smile.
All Your Dental Needs Under One Roof
Total Dental Care of South Carolina is not your typical dental office. We strive to make our patients comfortable and can treat almost any dental problem. When I started my own dental practice, I wanted to provide comprehensive services so my patients would not have to schedule multiple dental visits with multiple dental offices for their treatments – even for extensive procedures.
We’ve taken the advanced courses and training to provide solutions for missing teeth, bad dentures, damaged teeth, gum disease, and even cosmetic dental issues. We take pride in offering patients services to place ill-fitting dentures. When patients lose their teeth, many dentists fashion removable dentures. At our office, we can place dental implants and then restore the implants with permanent teeth that are secure in your mouth. You will never have to worry about taking your teeth in and out of your mouth again! And the best part is that you can eat whatever you want.
No More Waiting For Dental Crowns!
If you’ve had a tooth restored with a crown, you probably wore an uncomfortable temporary crown for several weeks while your permanent restoration was being fabricated. There are millions of American wearing dental crowns, as it’s a rather common dental procedure. So why does it take so long? I asked myself this question a few years ago and found a solution: CEREC same-day crowns. Using this special machine with CAD/CAM technology and an in-office milling station, we can design and create permanent crowns for patients in one visit. There’s no more waiting around for weeks for your permanent crown; you can have it in less than two hours.
Our patients love CEREC crowns because they are durable, and digital impressions create an extremely accurate fit!
